Our Mission
Every family experiences challenges. Sometimes families need a safe place to reconnect. Homes in Harmony was created to provide children and families with welcoming, family-centered opportunities for connection. Our services are designed to support meaningful interactions through play, conversation, shared meals, activities, and community experiences. We believe every family deserves opportunities to build relationships, create positive memories, and strengthen family bonds. At Homes in Harmony, we are committed to safety, neutrality, professionalism, and hope.
Spaces Designed for Connection
Homes in Harmony was intentionally created to feel less like an office and more like a home. Our spaces give families opportunities to reconnect through the kinds of ordinary moments that build relationships — sharing a meal, playing a game, reading a book, creating something together, or simply spending comfortable time with one another.
Every family is different, and every visit does not have to look the same. Our facility offers a variety of rooms and activities so visits can be tailored to the ages, interests, and needs of the children and families we serve.

Our Vision
Homes in Harmony is designed to provide a safe, supportive, and developmentally appropriate environment for children and families navigating divorce, custody disputes, juvenile proceedings, or other family transitions. Our vision grew from decades of professional experience working with children and families and witnessing firsthand how profoundly children can be affected by the way adults parent, communicate, and manage conflict.
We believe families deserve a place where children can feel safe and supported, parents can strengthen relationships and develop healthier ways to communicate, and families can find meaningful support as they move through difficult transitions.
Our Leadership
Homes in Harmony was founded by Leah and Chris Chaney with a shared commitment to supporting children and families during difficult transitions. Together, they bring decades of professional experience in law, education, counseling, administration, and working with families.
Chris Chaney brings more than 30 years of experience as an educator, counselor, and school administrator. He holds a Master’s degree in Counseling and a Doctorate in Education, and his career has centered on supporting children, strengthening families, and helping young people succeed. Chris provides leadership and oversight for the day-to-day operations and family-focused services of Homes in Harmony.
Leah Chaney is an attorney with 20 years of experience in family and juvenile law. Her professional experience working with families navigating divorce, custody disputes, and juvenile matters helped identify the need for accessible, structured services that support healthy parent-child relationships and reduce the impact of family conflict on children.
Homes in Harmony operates independently as a family services organization. Its services are available to families regardless of whether they are represented by counsel and are not connected to or conditioned upon representation by any particular attorney or law firm.
