Guiding families through divorce and custody challenges.

Homes in Harmony is designed to provide a safe, supportive, and developmentally appropriate environment for children and families navigating divorce, custody disputes, juvenile proceedings, or other family transitions. With over 20 years of legal experience in our community, co-founder Leah Chaney has seen firsthand how children are profoundly affected by the way adults' parent, communicate, and manage conflict.

Our mission is to support children and families in building healthier, more harmonious relationships through supervised visitation, counseling, parenting classes, and life-skills education. By offering engaging, age-appropriate spaces; including a toddler room, game room, and full kitchen, parents and children can interact naturally, rebuild trust, and create positive memories.

Homes in Harmony is co-founded by Leah Chaney and Chris Chaney, a team that combines deep legal, counseling, and educational expertise.
Leah Chaney brings 20 years of legal practice, representing families in divorce, custody, and juvenile matters. Her first-hand experience has revealed the urgent need for structured family supports like supervised visitation and parent education.
Chris Chaney has served as an educator, counselor, and administrator, in the public school system for more than 30 years. He holds a Master’s in Counseling and a Doctorate in Education. His life’s work has been dedicated to changing the trajectory of children through education, mentoring, and support. At Homes in Harmony, Chris contributes a wealth of knowledge and experience to fulfill the day-to-day operational and counseling needs critical to the program’s success.
Together, Leah and Chris bring a unique and powerful combination of legal insight, clinical knowledge, and educational leadership to ensure Homes in Harmony thrives.
